Laura - I loved the poem
Katie - I hope that you have a safe move to New Orleans this weekend.
I have decided to go to Colorado for a couple of days this week so maybe something cool will happen there. I will also be adding teena to our blog so we will have more people writing and keeping us company in the years to come. That's it for today, I hope that everyone has enjoyed their summer thus far and I wish us luck to come for the following year.
Love, Margaret

CO was amazing and anyone looking for an adventure should drive for 23 straight hours with 3 friends of your choice. Upon getting there we had each only had about 3 hours of sleep max and we were forced to immediately begin adventure activities. First we forded a river with a pretty quick current by swimming upstream hoping to land on land downstream. It was like those trig problems we did sophomore year. Then we jumped off of a 25 ft. cliff into water that wasn't really deep enough. After that we messed around in a lake with kayaks, rappeled down a 50 ft rock cliff..pretty scary on no sleep because your life is pretty much in your own hands and it seems pretty easy to accidentally let go and fall. On the second day there, still minimal sleep, we went spelunking for about 3 hours. After 3 hours in this cave we shut off our headlights and sat in complete darkness for about 5 min. I see how miners might go crazy now. On Saturday we went white water rafting down the CO River through a canyon, it was absolutely beautiful. Then we climbed a rock wall and shot guns. Truthfully, the gun shooting wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We were all really nervous because none of us had ever been around guns before in our lives so even loading the rifle was more than we were used to, but after the first few shots it got a lot better. I never adjusted to the loud explosion every time we shot it. Hope everyone is doing well.
